Our science inside
The technology used in Oderase™ was developed at Aqdot by a team of innovators and scientists. Named AqFresh™, the technology is patented so it is unique to Oderase™. Put simply, as an odour neutralizer it captures bad odour molecules.
Bad odour molecules in the air are quickly attracted to the Oderase™ molecules, which in turn capture the bad odours and erase them from the air.
Oderase™ is different from other air fresheners because it is so effective at erasing bad odours that it doesn’t contain any fragrances.
As an allergen-remover, the patented technology helps safely remove allergens* from soft furnishings, fabrics and pets. (*dust mite, pollen, cat & dog allergens, on contact, when sprayed on surfaces)
The special Oderase™ molecules are carefully suspended in water, and they spray as a fine mist into the air from the finger pump-spray, so no propellants are needed.

We care about you! We’re passionate about improving indoor air quality. Our formula is based on carefully selected ingredients - it is fragrance-free and contains no dyes.
We’re friendly! We have been awarded the Allergy UK ‘Allergy Friendly Product’ accreditation*. We’re family friendly, and pet friendly!
We know it needs to work….! We’ve tested Oderase™ extensively on lots of types of odours & allergens, and we’re confident it can cope with some of the most pungent smells & common allergens!
We use a pump-spray, so it’s quick and easy to use, and doesn’t use propellants like in pressurised aerosols.
Our packaging is recyclable – we chose to use HDPE 2 which is one of the most preferable plastics to recycle.

AqFresh™ Cucurbiturils
Eliminates Odour - The hero of Oderase™ it captures odour molecules and removes them from the air. It also helps safely remove allergens.* Cucurbiturils are microscopically small barrel-shaped molecules that have been the subject of academic study (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cucurbituril), for decades, but recently developed into a patented technology by the scientists at Aqdot (https://aqdot.com/products/advanced-odour-elimination/).
Water
It helps to suspend all other ingredients and forms the light mist when you spray.
Xanthan gum
Formulation stabiliser - a common food additive, it helps to thicken the formulation slightly to give an evenly sprayable product.
Phenoxyethanol
Preserves the formulation - widely used in cosmetics, it prevents microbials from contaminating the product. It has a very faint ‘rosy’ smell that you may (or may not) notice. When sprayed, the rosy smell quickly disappears.
That’s it! We do not add any fragrance (some would call it perfume) in our product, so that you can live your life free from odours, free from fragrance.
